Grand Island Dispatch, June 30, 2006 Lifelong Lewiston resident Maureen Kellick recently had her submission in the logo contest for the Niagara River Greenway selected as the winning entry on Monday. She will receive a $500 cash prize for winning. Kellick holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in painting and drawing from Rosary Hill College (now Daemen College) and is the director of marketing and development at ArtPark. Of three possible finalist spots, Kellick took two of them, along with finalist Kevin Hassett. Kellick’s winning logo will be used for the Niagara River Greenway’s letterhead, signs, documents, Web site and other work projects. (photo by Brent Minet) |
