Community Days at Fantasy Island

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce and Martin’s Fantasy Island have teamed up to present community days from Tuesday, July 11, through Thursday, July 13, at Western New York’s favorite family theme park on Grand Island.

The park and the Chamber of Commerce are offering a special, reduced admission to community members so they can enjoy a day of summer fun in the face of high gas prices. This price is discounted by 35 percent from a regular gate admission for adults 48” and taller and 20 percent for children 47” and under. Children under the age of 2 are free and do not need a ticket. Parking, as always, is free.

Martin’s Fantasy Island, Western New York’s favorite family theme park, offers a wide variety of rides and attractions for park quests. Included with admission are the rides, including the Silver Comet wooden roller coaster, Crazy Mouse spinning coaster, the Daredevil drop tower and thrill rides such as the Nitro, Chaos and Patriot. There is a complete water park featuring the new-for-2006 Cannon Bowl water ride, a wave pool, lazy river and kiddie area. The park also features a petting zoo, canoe ride, an authentic “Western Shoot Out” and other live shows.
