Grand Island Dispatch, June 23, 2006

Curves for Women has reopened under new ownership. Sandy Preston, a former HSBC Bank teller-turned-fitness-guru took over June 1. She wanted to help other women the way Curves helped her.

“I have been a member for three years. Before I was a member, I was overweight. Curves has helped me stay fit,” Preston said. “I want to do the same for other women who could use it.”

Curves offers memberships, T-shirts, vitamins and shakes, massages, yoga and low impact hydraulic fitness machines with no stacked weights.

Curves is also offering a summer promotion with a 50 percent off sign up fee.
