Earne ordained as Rabbi

Matthew Adam Earne,
son of Richard and Ann Earne, recently received his ordination as
a Rabbi from the Rabbinic School of the Jewish Theological Seminary
in New York City. Rabbi Earne received master of arts and doctorate
of divinity degrees at ceremonies held on May 18.
Earne is a graduate of Kadimah School of Buffalo,
Cornell University, and the University of Judaism in Los Angeles.
He has been a teacher of Jewish studies and a youth leader, leading
trips worldwide. He studied the Torah, Talmud, and other theological
commentaries at the Conservative Yeshiva of Jerusalem.
Earne and his wife, Liz, will move to California to
begin his work as an assistant rabbi at Congregation Beth Am in
San Diego.
