N-W faculty readies for basketball benefit game vs. Sabres alumni

Members of the Niagara-Wheatfield faculty will take on the Buffalo Sabres Alumni in a charity basketball game on Friday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the Senior High School gym, 2292 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn.

Everyone in attendance will have the chance to get autographs from the former members of the Buffalo Sabres and win great prizes at a Chinese auction.

Tickets can be purchased through presale and at the door. Proceeds will benefit a family in the Niagara-Wheatfield community that has recently lost their home in a fire.

Individuals, businesses and organizations interested in donating items for the Chinese auction or advertising in the game program, should call 523-7492.
