Schultz, Parker win Spring Fling race

On April 30, the Lewiston Recreation Department held the annual Lewiston Kiwanis “One Mile Race” for Youth as part of the 11th annual Lewiston Spring Fling.

The winners in the different categories were:

•Overall (male): Paul Schultz, 4 minutes 50 seconds.

•Overall (female): Rachel Parker, 5:39.

•Age 5 and under: Benjamin Schul; Elaina Jowdy.

•Age 5 and 6: Spence Finkbeiner; Abigail Schul.

•Age 7 and 8: Nathan Nashwinter; Alexandra Whitney.

•Age 9 and 10: Thomas Barr; Abigail Nashwinter.

•Age 11 and 12: Ryan Dalavia; Hayley Besaw.

•Age 13 and 14: Alec Curtis; Kelsey McGill.
