GI Club Hockey to hold tryouts for 2006-07 season

The Grand Island Vikings High School Club Hockey team will hold tryouts for the 2006-07 season on Wednesday, May 10; Saturday, May 13; and Sunday, May 21, at Niagara University’s Dwyer Arena.

Tryout times for the junior varsity are 7 to 7:50 p.m. on May 10; 4:40 to 6:10 p.m. on May 13; and 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. on May 21.

Tryout times for the varsity team are 9 to 9:50 p.m. on May 10; 3 to 4:30 p.m. on May 13; and 4:30 to 6 p.m. on May 21.

All players need to arrive one hour prior to ice time to register for the tryouts.

Each player also needs to bring one light and one dark-colored jersey.

A tryout fee will be charged. Players selected to the teams will have to submit non-refundable deposit at the sign-in on May 21.
