Cub Scout Pack 833 holds Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 833 of Niagara County held their annual Pinewood Derby race on Jan. 25 at Adams Fire Company in Wheatfield. With 74 boys participating in this year’s event, 10 rounds of 17 heats each made for a long night and great fun for all involved in the derby. The Scouts raced all types of creative vehicles, including a muscle car, an army tank and a hot dog car. Webelos Scout Sam Harding won the derby final, beating out Bear Scout Daniel Greaser and Wolf Scout Daniel Schweiger, who finished second and third overall respectively. Pack 833 Cub Scout leaders congratulate all winners and all of their Scouts for doing a fantastic job making their cars and participating in the race. The Scout leaders also thank the members of Adams Fire Company for their continued support of Pack 833.
