N-W teacher sorority to hold fund-raiser

The Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will hold its annual luncheon/fashion show on Saturday, April 1, at 11:30 a.m. at the Classics V Banquet & Conference Center, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst.

The event, which benefits the chapter’s scholarship fund, will also include raffles and door prizes.

Alpha Delta Kappa is an altruistic sorority of teachers from the Niagara-Wheatfield school district who dedicate their time and resources to support local, national and international causes.

Each year, this sorority of women educators awards a $1,000 college scholarship to a female member of the graduating class from Niagara-Wheatfield. The fashion show/luncheon serves as the primary source of revenue for the scholarship fund.

People of all ages are welcome at this family event.
