OUN Foundation hosts golf raffle fund-raiser

The Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation hosts its seventh annual Golf Raffle on Sunday, April 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Sanborn Fire Hall, 5811 Buffalo St.

The event offers golf enthusiasts chances to win more than $20,000 in men’s and women’s golf-related equipment and trips.

Admission includes dinner, soft drinks and a chance to win the grand prize – a trip for four to the at La Quinta Hotel and Resort in Palm Springs, Calif., June 1-5. Valued at $7,000, the package will include air travel on Southwest Airlines, ground transportation, four nights lodging and three rounds of golf on the resort’s PGA West Championship courses (home of the Bob Hope Desert Classic).

Other prizes include Callaway X-18 irons, 3-PW steel shaft; Ping G5 irons, 3-PW steel shaft; Precept Tour premium irons, 3-PW steel shaft, a Ladies Callaway X460 driver (12 degree) graphite stiff; and a Ping G5 driver (10 degree) graphite regular. Both men’s and women’s prizes are featured along with left-handed clubs.

All attendees are required to purchase an admission ticket and must be present at the event.

Other attractions will include a cash bar, more than 100 additional side raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Proceeds will benefit programs and services provided by Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara to individuals with developmental disabilities in Niagara County.

Daniel Antonucci, golf professional at Niagara Frontier Country Club, and Joseph Cecconi Sr. will serve as this year’s chairmen for the fund-raiser.
