Caucuses set for Youngstown board hopefuls Lewiston Porter Sentinel, March 18, 2006 The village of Youngstown Democratic and Republican committees will be holding caucus sessions next week for Democratic and Republican residents interested in running for the Youngstown Village Board. The sessions, which are open to Youngstown village residents only, will take place Friday, March 24, at the Youngstown Village Red Brick Hall, 240 Lockport St., beginning at 6 p.m. The purpose of the sessions is for the nomination of candidates for this May’s village elections. Trustees will be running for a two-year term. The village elections will take place Tuesday, May 16, from noon to 9 p.m. |
