Artpark ‘Camp Adventures’

Artpark hosts professionally instructed “Camp Adventures,” Western New York’s only children’s summer camps devoted to the visual and performing arts. This season’s portfolio of week-long workshops includes a trio of “Art Camps” (July 10-14, 17-21 and July 31 to Aug. 4) and a session of “Theater Camp” (July 24-28).

“Art Camp” provides campers the opportunity to brush up on painting, sketch and use a pottery wheel during each fun filled morning. Afternoons are inundated with a sweeping spectrum of exciting art mediums including abstract mosaic, felt-making and paper mache. Family and friends are invited to an exclusive “Studio Art Show” on the final afternoon.

“Theater Camp” puts aspiring thespians on stage as professional actors guide them through an array of lively theater games, creative physical and vocal exercises, character development activities and energetic acting techniques. A preview will be held the final afternoon of “Theater Camp.”
