Sacred Heart Science Fair Lewiston Porter Sentinel, February 11, 2006 The Sacred Heart Village School in Lewiston held a Science Fair as part of Catholic Schools Week. Students from kindergarten to fifth grade took part in the fair. Kindergarteners and first-graders explained their projects to their classmates, and each student received a certificate of participation. Second- to fifth-graders explained their projects before judges who are students from Niagara University, and there were four winners in each class. The winners are: Second grade First place, Antonio Thompson; second place, Gabriella Merletti; third place, Emmett Mahar; fourth place, Brittany Travis. Third grade First place, Hailey Russell; second place, Alessandra Santarosa; third place, Sara Wright; fourth place, Jeana Franjoine. Fourth grade First place, Laura Garzon; second place, Hannah Olds; third place, Connor Caso; fourth place, Nico Santangelo. Fifth grade First place, Alexis Travis; second place, Samantha Mahar; third place, John Kozar; fourth place, Jazzman Pfaffenberger. |
