NCCC hosts Boone, Marin and Elmore

Niagara County Community College hosts a major speaker series in February as part of Black History Month. Scheduled to appear are:

•Herman Boone, the subject of the Denzel Washington film “Remember the Titans.” He will speak on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at noon.

•Cheech Marin, star of “Cheech and Chong” and “Nash Bridges,” and a noted Chicano art collector. He will speak on Friday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m.

•Buffalo Attorney, author, teacher and former police officer John V. Elmore. He will speak on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 12:30 p.m.

All speakers will present in the Fine Arts Auditorium. There will be an admission fee for Marin. For more information, visit www.niagaracc.suny.edu.
