NU pays tribute at Vincentian Heritage Convocation

Lewiston Porter Sentinel, January 28, 2006

Pictured above (right to left) are Vincentian Heritage Convocation honorees Joe Mihalich and Dr. Robert Bull. Professor Dr. Thomas Sheeran said Mihalich, in his eight years as NU coach, has exemplified the simple, daily acts reminiscent of St. Vincent DePaul. In his attendance at mass and in his duties as husband, father, and son, Mihalich “provides the role model for one who would be a Christian gentleman.” Sister Hilary Davis said Dr. Bull, on his first visit to Mexico to treat the poorest of the poor in 1994, saw 600 patients. “A number he described as only the tip of the iceberg,” she said.
