The following incidents occurred the period of Dec. 5-11 as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 83 calls were answered by the department during this period.

Monday, Dec. 5

•Patrol requested to check an unspecified area on Ridge Road for a possible intoxicated driver. License plate number furnished. Patrol unable to locate said vehicle/driver. Report filed.

•Patrol requested to check on the welfare of an unnamed resident at an address on the 4900 block of Creek Road. Patrol reports being unsuccessful in its efforts to make contact with said party. Officers along with Niagara County Sheriffs’ deputies executed a forced entry into the home. Search yielded negative results. Report filed.

•Criminal mischief complaint at a business address on the 2800 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Officers took a statement from a 69-year-old male who reported damage to a coin box at the facility. Report filed.

•Two-car property damage only accident on Military Road near the state Power Authority Pump Station. Patrol took statements from both drivers; no charges or injuries reported. Report filed.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

•Patrol requested to check on the welfare of a female driver in a vehicle parked on Center Street who was reported despondent over marital issues. Search conducted with negative results. Report filed.

•Warrant execution conducted at the Lewiston Police Department. Patrol reports the arrest of a 40-year-old female on a warrant received from the New York State Parks Police. Bail of $100 assigned and posted. Subject assigned an appearance ticket for a Town of Lewiston Court date. Report filed.

•Possible criminal trespass complaint at an address on the 5800 block of Townline Road. Patrol checked the building with the owner and reports all secure. Report filed.

•Patrol requested to check on a situation at a bar/restaurant business on the 5400 block of Walmore Road. Call involved a male party reportedly armed with a black handgun on the premises. Patrol conducted a check of the location with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department, with negative results. Report filed.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

•Patrol requested to check on a situation at an address on the 2800 block of Niagara Street in Sanborn. Patrol spoke with a female party regarding problems she was having with a friend. Patrol advised the individual and reports all secure. Report filed.

•Suspicious vehicle complaint on the 2900 block of Upper Mountain Road. Patrol reports finding a 1998 Chevrolet vehicle with all its doors open. License plate information obtained and patrol located the owner. Vehicle secured; report filed.

•Arrest conducted at the Lewiston Police Department office, stemming from an earlier complaint. Patrol reports the arrest of a male party from a city of Niagara Falls address; charges not specified. Subject issued an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Patrol requested to check on a situation at a residence on the 800 block of Oxbow Lane. Patrol reported an audible alarm at said residence. Residence secured and key holder notified. Report filed.

Thursday, Dec. 8

•Patrol reports issuing appearance tickets for Town of Lewiston Court to a 21-year-old male at an address on the 800 block of Oneida Street as per orders from the town dog control officer. Report filed.

•Two-car property damage only accident at the bottom of Lewiston hill near the Robert Moses Parkway on-ramp. Statements taken from both drivers; no charges or injuries reported. Towing service on location. Report filed.

•Patrol reports assisting Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies with an assault incident at Niagara Wheatfield High School on the 2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Unidentified subject arraigned at Lewiston Town Court and placed in the custody of parents. Report filed.

•Alarm response at a residence on the 4600 block of Perry Court. Patrol reports said response was called off by the alarm company. Report filed.

Friday, Dec. 9

•Unwanted party complaint at a nursing home facility on the 700 block of Fairchild Place. Patrol reported the call involved a former employee. Subject reported gone on patrol’s arrival. Report filed.

•One-car property damage only accident on the 1800 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Patrol took a statement from a 19-year-old female. No charges or injuries reported. Report filed.

•One-car property damage only accident on Upper Mountain Road; address location not identified. No charges or injuries reported. Report filed.

•Patrol requested to back up Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies at an address on the 5400 block of Walmore Road regarding a possible fight. Patrol reported all secure. Report filed.

Saturday, Dec. 10

•Two-car property damage only accident on Walmore and Saunders Settlement roads. Patrol took a statement from a 47-year-old male listed as driver #2 and reports driver #1 as unknown. Plate information for vehicle # 1 obtained; driver reportedly had fled the accident scene on foot. Patrol, joined by Niagara County Sheriffs, New York State Police and U.S. Border Patrol had tracked the suspect to a nearby gas/convenience store and reportedly lost the subject on railroad tracks. Investigation to continue; report filed.

•Stolen vehicle reported from an address on the 1900 block of Mount Hope Road. Patrol took a statement from a 42-year-old female regarding the theft of an ATV. Patrol reported the recovery of the ATV later on in the day. Report filed.

•Suspected trespassing complaint at a residence on the 1000 block of Ridge Road. Patrol took a statement from a 38-year-old male and reports its investigation as continuing. Report filed.

•Car-deer accident on Ridge Road; location not specified. Patrol took a follow-up statement later on from a 38-year-old male driver. Report filed.

Sunday, Dec. 11

•Patrol reports assisting Niagara County Mental Health Department officials with a female at a residence on the 800 block of Fox wood Drive. Patrol reported the individual was removed for an evaluation at an unnamed facility. No problems reported; report filed.

•Alarm response at a residence on the 4900 block of Meyers Hill Road. Patrol reported all secure at that location. Report filed.

•Suspicious vehicle complaint on the 1200 block of Swann Road. Patrol reported said vehicle was gone on their arrival. Report filed.

•Two-car property damage only accident on the 100 block of Portage Road. Patrol took a statement from a 61-year-old male listed as driver #1, and reported the second vehicle as unoccupied and parked. Report filed.
