A total of 80 calls were answered by the department during this period. Monday, Nov. 28 •Domestic incident at an address on the 100 block of Portage Road. Patrol took a statement from a 52-year-old female who reported that her 51-year-old husband had harassed her at her workplace. Domestic Incident Report filed. •Counterfeit currency complaint at a gas/convenience store on the 22900 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Patrol took a statement from a 55-year-old male, who reported receiving counterfeit money from a 40-year-old male. U.S. Secret Service contacted; investigation to continue. Report filed. •Harassment/criminal mischief complaint at a residence on the 4300 block of Creek Road. Patrol took a statement from a 19-year-old female; details of the incident not provided. Officers had earlier attempted to serve said warrant at a Lower Mountain Road address without success. Warrant served on a 45-year-old male; subject remanded to the Niagara County Jail. Patrol took statements from a 22-year-old male listed as driver #1 and a male party listed as the owner of vehicle #2. Report filed. Saturday, Dec. 3 •Reckless driver complaint on South Sixth Street. Patrol reports locating the driver and issuing a verbal warning to same. Report filed. •Possible harassment incident at a residence on the 100 block of South Seventh Street. Patrol took a statement from a male complainant who reported that a vehicle had drove over the lawn, damaging same. Report filed. •Patrol requested on a check the welfare call at a residence on the 4800 block of Eddy Drive West. Complaint involved a reported intoxicated male with two young children in the house. Patrol reported the individual as sober on their arrival; all else reported secure. Report filed. •Report of a vehicle heading southbound on Creek Road with no taillights. Patrol reports locating said vehicle and issuing a verbal warning to the driver for having one malfunctioning brake light. Report filed. •Patrol reports assisting Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies with an alarm response call at an address on the 2600 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road.
