December 15, 2005

Former and current members of the United States Marine Corps joined radio celebrity Iney Wallens to promote the annual the Marine Reserve’s annual Toys for Tots program at last week’s taping of her show, heard each Friday on WHLD-AM. Since 1947, the Marines have made Christmas wishes come true for the less fortunate children. This year again, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve unit in Buffalo will collect thousands of new, unwrapped toys to be delivered for the needy during the holidays. Residents can still drop off the toys at designated local businesses. For more information call 885-6529. Shown in the above photo (left to right) are Bruce Marshall, commandant of the Conrad F.
