Lobsterfest returns Lewiston Porter Sentinel, May 2005 Few foods on the planet can make the mouth water as much as lobster. It’s a special occasion when seafood lovers can partake of the red delicious dish. The problem is, when you go to a restaurant you only get one. So too, depending on the eatery, your lobster may be small and underfed. The anticipation can be greater than the pay-off. If only there was an all-you-can-eat lobsterfest ... The Grand Island Rotary Club’s lobsterfest is back. The popular food feast takes place in the Buffalo Launch Club Pavilion, 503 East River Road, on Friday, June 3. The annual event features all-you-can-eat freshly cooked Maine lobster, Chef René’s “Lobsterfest Soup,” roast beef, cole slaw, potato salad, hors d’oeuvres and dessert for one low price. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for free all throughout the event, with a cash bar also offered. Live music will be played by Route 66, with a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction presented. Reservations are required by Friday, May 27. Tickets are
available at the Chamber of Commerce office, 1980 Whitehaven
Road, during normal business hours. Credit cards are accepted.
