Grand Island Democrats seek candidates

The Grand Island Democratic Committee has extended an invitation for the Democratic endorsement to individuals interested in seeking public office in the November 2005 election.

This year the Grand Island voters will elect candidates for the positions of: town justice, highway superintendent, and two members of the Town Board.

Daniel T. Quider, chairman of the Grand Island Committee, said, “Interested candidates are requested to submit a letter of interest seeking the Democratic endorsement with their resume to: The Grand Island Democratic Committee, Daniel T. Quider, Chairman, 3489 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072-1069 by Friday, April 29, 2005.”

The committee will schedule interviews on Tuesday, May 3, and the Democratic endorsements will be made that night following the interviews.
