One final weekend for NCBA Parade of Homes

Seven of Niagara county's finest builders are showcasing their homes for one final weekend in Western New York's only multiple-site home show, the Niagara County Builders Association Parade of Homes 2003. Despite inclement weather and a Buffalo Bills home game, the home show enjoyed a good amount of traffic during its second week. Guests braved the elements last weekend to attend the show, where they were able to view nine custom-built homes located in various picturesque neighborhoods in the towns of Wheatfield and Lockport.

The ninth annual Parade of Homes is open to the public for one final weekend, Oct. 4-5, from noon to 5 p.m. Visitors are invited to tour the homes and learn about floor plan options, available lots, decorating ideas, and more. Builders and subcontractors will be on hand to answer questions and showcase their products, from cabinets and doors to water filtration systems and gas grills.

Also available at each house are glossy, color Parade of Homes magazines full of information about the show, including a map of all the home locations, house photos and descriptions, builder profiles, and more.

Attendees are invited to fill out entries at each home to win a gas grill courtesy of National Fuel and a $75 gift certificate to Orville's Appliances. The more houses you visit, the greater your chances to win.

Sil Barone Homes, Mordeno Construction, David Homes, Prestige Designs, and Rosal Construction are each showcasing one home, while Ryan Homes and Eddy& Lewin Homes each have two homes in the show. All nine houses in this year's show are ENERGY STAR® Labeled Homes, which guarantees improved insulation, ventilation, heating, cooling and appliances and 30 percent greater energy efficiency than conventionally built new homes.

Major sponsors for the Parade of Homes 2003 are Countrywide Home Loans, 84 Lumber, National Fuel, NYSERDA/ ENERGY STAR®, and the NCBA.
