Hospice Dash 2011 recap
The 3rd annual Hospice Dash half marathon took place on Saturday, Sept. 24. Eight-hundred runners competed in the event, which began at the upper parking lot at Artpark and ended at Porter on the Lake, a distance of 13.1 miles. Bob and Willie Emerson, in 1812-era military uniforms, are pictured below firing flintlock muskets signifying the start of the race. Eric Ingalsbe, from Corfu, was the winner with a time of 1 hour, 14 minutes and 28 seconds, and is photographed below crossing the finish line.
